An Act Regarding Non-Personhood Status for Environmental Elements, Animals and Inanimate Objects
Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of _________:
Section 1. That Chapter ___, Title ____, ______Code. Be. And the same is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a NEW SECTION, to be know and designated as Section ________, ____Code, and to read as follows:
PERSONHOOD STATUS. Notwithstanding any other provisions of law, environmental elements, nonhuman animals, and inanimate objects shall not be granted personhood in the state of _____. Nothing in this section revokes the status of legal person in or of any municipality, organization, corporation, or other legal or business entity recognized by the laws of the state of ________.
SECTION 2. An emergency existing therefore, which emergency is hereby declared to exist, this act shall be in full force and effect on and after ___________date.
