  • HB 1021[1] is similar to ALEC's "Paycheck Protection Act,"[2] "Employee Rights Reform Act"[3], "Political Funding Reform Act"[4] and "Labor Organizations Deductions Act"[5][6]
  • SB 436 (signed 4/26/05, Sponsor: Rep. Dennis Baxley, R-Ocala) "Castle Doctrine Act."[7] Compare to ALEC's "Castle Doctrine Act."[8] Sponsor Rep. Baxley says his bill was used as a template for the ALEC model for other states.[9]
  • Florida rejected grants from the federal "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act." Compare to strategies suggested in ALEC's "State Legislator’s Guide to Repealing ObamaCare."[10][11]
